Is this asbestos?

Asbestos
I work at a golf course. In the building where the golf carts are stored there is a yellow-looking insulation that is hanging along the walls and ceiling around the entire room. The building is old; I think it was built prior to the 1970s. Is this asbestos? I am not sure, but I would like to confirm if it is. Here is a picture I took today:

Ask your employer, I’m pretty sure they’re required to tell you about that kind of stuff.

I very much doubt it. It looks like an older variety of fibreglass insulation. They didn’t use asbestos for insulation like that. On the other hand, it shouldn’t be exposed like that, because fibreglass insulation can break into short strands and dust that can be very irritating to the throat and bronchial tubes. It should have a new layer of plastic stapled over it.

Does not look like it to me. Have you ever been in a home built before the 80’s? The ceilings that are rough and sparkly are asbestos. Anyway, asbestos is against state health regulations. They would have been shut down during inspection if it was asbestos.
