    We will never really know the truth. As cell phone companies / manufacturers are the ones in charge of setting “SAFE” levels of cell phone radiation. This is like giving prison inmates the keys to the State Penitentiary. And on the other hand you have “environmental groups” that say the opposite, the truth lies some ware in the middle. Just don’t abuse your cell phone, use it wisely and if you have to use it a lot, use a hands free mike and ear piece to keep the phone away from your brain, after all will you stick your head inside a micro wave oven? Check your cell phone frequency it’s the same, just lower power, but in the long run it’s the same.

    Their have been several other studies done that have neither proven, nor denied the chance of cancer in cell phones. Many cell phones…especially those designed for Verizon, Sprint, or any other CDMA cell phones, emit a way lower amount of radiation than that of microwaves. I am going to study the article you have provided us with and see. I have looked at it, and it has a 99% of not being accurate. Cell phones, for one, have not been out long enough to kill anyone. Their is not any real scientific evidence and the FCC still says they are safe. If you are worried about any of the effects cell phones may have, try the following:

    1. Keep the cell phone 2 inches away from your head or any other parts of your body.

    2. Use a bluetooth head set.

    3. Have limited use for children.

    4. Choose a wireless carrier that uses CDMA based services. These services do not use satellites and therefore do not emit as much radiation. They also do not interfere with other electronics.

    Carriers that are CDMA band are:
    Verizon Wireless
    Sprint PCS
    Metro PCS
    US Cellular
    Alltel (now part of Verizon Wireless)

    Carriers that are not CDMA and use GSM are:

    Cingular Wireless/ATT Mobility
    T-Mobile
    Some Parts of Tracfone
