Corner Pieces on Asbestos – Concrete siding?
I have an older home with Asbestos-concrete siding in relatively good condition so I do not see replacing it as being needed.
However, I am missing several of the corner pieces.
These are the metal end caps that slide up onto the two adjoining pieces of asbestos-concrete to fill in the crease where the two meet on the corners.
I am looking to purchase some of these corner pieces as having them fabricated seems tedious.
Anyone know what they are called? Or where I can look or even buy some?
Thanks!
What part of my question are people having difficulty understanding?
I clearly said the METAL corner pieces.
And Asbestos-concrete siding is not the kind of asbestos that is dangerous unless you make a habit of crushing and smashing it into dust and then inhaling it.
As long as the siding is in good condition it is harmless.
I suggest you do some research as well.
Clearly I never said I was putting asbestos siding up. I said I have it up alrready and I am looking for the METAL end caps to cover the gaps where two sheets meet at the corner. I don’t know how to draw a picture any clearer.

I would think twice before continuing to install asbestos in my home environment.
The easiest way to find out about asbestos and its effects is to read information provided by lawyers’ offices that’s specialized in the field (also called mesothelomia)
People have been awarded millions just for exposure to asbestos as mesothelomia may develop in the most unsuspected environment.
