If you don&#039;t know, it&#039;s better to assume there is asbestos in your ceiling. I live in Orange County and it&#039;s definitely been used here.

The CDC in Atlanta Georgia would probably be able to give you a definitive answer as to the dangers of a small amount, but I would guess you have nothing to worry about. 

If you ever decide to remove your own acoustic ceiling, be sure to wear a protective mask.</description>
