Can asbestos be 100% removed from a house where it has been tested to be a high Asbestos explosures area?

Asbestos
Say, if I hrie a fully licensed asbestos abatement contractor to do the removal/clean-up, after they do the job, how certain it is that the asbestos problems will be resolved?

Does anybody has any asbestos removal experience before?
There is a BROKEN transite vent pipe located in the attic. I got the test result says the transite pipe is a ACM, contains 22% asbestos.
Some HVAC contrabors did the installation work in the attic and broke the transite pipe without knowing it’s a hazard of asbestos explosures. The broken transite pipe was left without any proper wrapping

I don’t think it can be 100% removed as you will never be able to get rid of the little asbestos particles that will be there, but too small to see.
Ive had to learn a little bit about it, but im no asbestos genius, so i could be wrong.

I work in construction and have had experience with asbestos abatement. They can remove the asbestos no problem. It is not even a problem unless the pipe will be disturbed further. You can have the air tested after removal if you are worried at all.
Too bad, so sad because you’re screwed! The answer is ‘YES’ the asbestos can be removed but it could cost more than your house is worth…

If it is just in the transite pipe, I would repair it and not worry about it…it is just a vent pipe and nothing will disturb it..this type of piping was used pre plastic age in our city for sewer pipe, and is run all over here…they patch it up and leave it…hubby has worked with it…get someone to check it out for removal, but I don’t think it will bother you…patch it and leave it.

it can be completly removed, but the cost depends on what all is made from asbestos ie insulation, plaster on walls and flooring tiles as well.
the concern is over the insulation and any thing that would or could be inhaled

Transite pipe is not a big issue. It can be repaired and sealed with a coating or tape wrap. The problem is with airborne particles and unless the pipe was cut with a tool that spews dust you would not be in any danger.

Asbestos has been one of the big scare issues of our lifetime. If properly handled, asbestos can be cleaned up pretty well. What you are most concerned about is asbestos dust that might get into the air that you breathe. Good abatement contractors make sure it is kept wet and contained. They follow up with a good HEPA vac to remove all traces. That vent pipe is not going to give off a lot of asbestos in my opinion.
